It is November and it is finally getting cold! Saturday night we had a bonfire and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows at Adam's dads house. It was really cold but we had a lot of fun.
Hey Candace! I found you again on Janice's blog. I used to have yours bookmarked but it's been "lost" for a long time for some reason, so I was glad to find you here again. Your fort story cracked me up. Kellen has used Anna's soccer cleats & shin guards that you gave us, all season this fall---thank you! She had her tonsils out last week but is doing well. Absolutely loving first grade! Our blog is on Janice's page if you want to keep up with Kellen!
I am a wife, a mom, a sister, a daughter and a teacher. I love spending time with my family, and we do a lot together. I have always loved children so being a mom and a teacher is a perfect fit for me. I have the best husband in the World. He is a great dad and takes care of us all. We are very fortunate to be close to both of our families and we spend lots of time with them. I am living a very blessed life that I am thankful for every day.
Drake is our oldest at twelve. He is a great kid! He has been kind and loving since the day he was born. He has an easy temperment and rarely gets down or angry. His patience makes him the perfect big brother. He plays with his brother and sister and always patiently listens to them. He has a great personality and a quick wit that he gets from his dad. He excels at school and has many academic awards. As we often say, "everyone loves Drake."
Jack is the middle child at eight. He sometimes has what my father-in-law calls the "middle child syndrome". He has a larger-than-life personality that sometimes gets him in trouble. His smile and dimples tell you he is up to something, which he usually is. He has an amazing imagination and his creativity knows no bounds. Sports are his "thing" and he is very competitive. He has a huge heart and is very loving. He is also the mess-maker in our house because he is always "making" something.
Emma is the baby at three. She was the "gift" that completed our family. She is a true princess. She has been spoiled by all of us since she was born. She is beautiful and she knows it. She is mommy's helper and daddy's girl. She can be very kind and loving, but can also be bossy and demanding. She likes things her way which she gets from her mommy. Just when you think you will win and convince her she will not get her way, she smiles that little smile and you lose. She is truly full of happiness!

Looks like you had a fun time. I think onfires are even more fun when it's cold outside!
